Gluten-free & Raw Oil
Our Yakuzen Curry does not contain any wheat flour, which is used in large quantities in most curries (gluten-free). Gluten-free has become a hot topic all over the world, not only for those with wheat allergies, but also to avoid the risk of various diseases latent in wheat, and gluten-free health practices are now becoming popular in Japan. Furthermore, while most curries contain a large amount of oil, our curries are made with the minimum amount of oil necessary to minimize the burden on the gastrointestinal tract. This means that our customers do not suffer from the stomach upset after eating curry.

Spices and herbs are the lifeblood of curry. The most difficult part of curry making is the combination of these spices. On the contrary, the combination of spices and herbs is what makes each curry restaurant unique. Of course, our restaurant also puts the most effort into the combination of these spices. We use more than 17 carefully selected spices and herbs in our curries, which are uniquely blended. We generously and generously add them to our curries, resulting in a very aromatic and spicy finish. Some people think that yakuzen curry tastes bitter even though it is healthy, but we are particular about the taste so that our customers can enjoy the curry itself.
Two levels of concentrated flavor
Our curry has not only the aroma of spices, but also the unique Japanese “umami” flavor that is concentrated in the curry. Vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, ginger, and garlic are slowly sauteed until they lose their moisture to condense their “ umami” before being combined with the spices. As for onions, the more they are sauteed, the less spicy they become and the sweeter they become. In general, sugar, honey, and apples are added to curry, but we do not add any such sugar to our curry. The soup used to finish the curry is our original “Yakuzen” soup, which is made by simmering kelp and chicken broth with jujubes, wolfberries, onions, garlic, ginger, bay leaves, and other ingredients for a long time.
